"Sierra Summer Evening" 24"x18" Pastel
Besides a couple of recent events, I have enjoyed a little bit of time off these last few days. I did however, manage to complete and ship this piece for a competition in Mammoth Lakes, California. This painting is of a scene just south of Mammoth lakes near Mcgee Creek. This is an adjacent small creek I found while walking east from Hwy 395. The sun was just about to set over the Sierras and that usual Long Valley breeze was blowing. It's moments like these when I feel most blessed and trully alive with no other place I would rather be. Enjoy.

"The End Of The Storm" 24"x36" pastel
Some of my work is completed within a relatively short period of time with perhaps a few final touch-ups later.
This particular piece took about 2 years to complete mainly because I enjoyed having it on the wall to view any time I wanted and adding small improvements when ideas came to me. I took it down last week and put the final touches it required and I am very pleased with it. It is now complete.
4200.
