Sunday morning I drove down to Ballona Wetlands to paint. I have had my eye on this scene for a long time but with a very busy highway just to my back and very few areas to park, it is not the easiest area to navigate.  Once I was settled in and painting, I was treated with a surprise visit from a mother duck and her week old ducklings. With my music drowning out the traffic noise, and the show being put on by the ducks, it was quite a fun morning.
