I have been working on this piece periodically for well over a year. I have added some things and changed others. It has been a process of listening and waiting to see where the painting itself wanted to go, rather than me imposing my will upon it. It has morphed into quite a new and different painting since it began. Now I can leave it alone as I am quite satisfied with it.
