"After The Morning Rain" 6x8 pastel

I have been spending some time painting at Madrona Marsh Wildlife Preserve lately and after  time working in the studio, I was happy to get outside and work directly from nature.  On this particular morning, it was raining and the rain stopped long enough for me to work on this small piece.
