I'm pleased and relieved to finish this pastel because it has taken a year to get to it. I have several more potential paintings that I would like to work on from my trip to North Carolina last autumn. All in good timing as I'm sure that these ideas have needed to marinate for awhile
before I begin working on them. This particular scene was used last weekend as a partial demonstration for a Saturday workshop.
